Garland

In my opinion, garland is hideous.

It looks old, traditional and reminds me of grandparents.



I met with the florist this past weekend and she asked me if I wanted garland on the front handrails. I asked if there were any other options and she asked what I had in mind. Of course, I hadn't even thought of it. So, I was just searching on Martha Stewart's website and found something that will probably be more budget friendly and more fun: silk petal garlands. And they can be another weekend project for us.



Now comes the problem of choosing the type of flowers.

For the wedding we will be using cream colored roses so I am thinking something along the lines of:


And mixing it with light pinks and lavender to add color.
