My Life in Gif

Easter was glorious as usual. We ate way too much and laughed hard all day long.

I contributed to the eating too much by making a Apple-Turtle Cheesecake topped with rollos. That's right, folks. Rollos.

That's an "E" for Easter.

Bobby and Josh played a thrilling game of HORSE

Followed by a sweet, family jam session.

We had our first yard sale which for some reason we really enjoyed. I think Bobby liked pretending he was running a real shop - he had music playing for everyone and was quite the haggler.

Windy was a really bad dog. No more freedom for her.

Luci was upset, too.

We closed on the house! Then immediately went to St. Simon's. The same day. It was tough. We were excited to see family and spend time at the beach - but uh, we just bought a house.

St. Simon's was beautiful. The weather was perfect and Luci got to come with us!

Luci got to see the ocean for the first time.

Here's me on the special bike.

So, yeah. That's what we've been up to in gif. I've also been going to flamenco practice just about every day. We're having a free in-studio performance tomorrow. I'm super excited and nervous! Our first performance is May 15th. So soon.

Progress at the house is going well. We've painted the living room, hallway and kitchen.

This

is now this

We're holding off on painting the bedrooms to see what colors come to us. What the walls say to us. Or something.

Big move is this weekend. And I cannot wait!

Birthday parties. Summer parties. Cookouts. Bocce. Yard work.
