"Momma, I'm changing"

One of our neighbors just got their first puppy for their son who is about 7 or 8. It's been funny watching the little boy walk his new puppy around our neighborhood - he's so proud.

I ran into his mom today who had a very funny story to tell me. So, you know how puppies are? Besides being adorable and precious - they're mouthy and like to chew on everything? Well, the other day - her and her boy and his loyal companion - man's best friend - we're taking a walk around the block. The puppy was acting out and started mouthing at the leash. The boy kept telling him to stop - and then the puppy put his mouth around the boy's ankle. He didn't bite - just mouthed it. Mouthed it enough. The boy suddenly dropped the leash and ran home screaming. His mom was so perplexed, she just started laughing and followed him home. When she got home the boy was crying hysterically. His mom said their were no teeth marks, his skin wasn't scratched - there was nothing on his ankle. When she explained to him that the puppy didn't hurt him and he shouldn't be so upset - he turned to her and said, "Momma, I'm changing." "Changing into what?" "A werewolf...I can feel it."
